Sugar & The Hi-Lows 4th full length album entitled Shangri La will be available everywhere May 1st. Singles, “Happiness”, “Dip Dow”, and “Moves” will be released before the full album.

The band recorded the album at the legendary Sound Emporium studios in March 2019. They have been perfecting and overdubbing and mixing. See pics and full story from the process below:

Sugar & The Hi-Lows is releasing their fourth album, Shangri La on May 1st 2020. While their sound obviously plays ode to the music from different eras, this seven track project follows through with both the flirty, fun highs and equally poetic lows as Sugar & The Hi-Lows does best. Shangri La perfectly fixes a little bit of Amy’s Texas with a little bit of Trent’s Mississippi as they are no stranger to drawing from their roots over the current trends. From the playful nods in “Dip Dow” and “High Stepper” to the longing ballad of “Happiness” each song is just as irresistible as its predecessor. The familiar nostalgia and charm found in their debut is featured prominently in this project and their dynamic chemistry is undeniable more than ever. The project was recorded over a week at the legendary Sound Emporium in Nashville, TN with the band being made of up Amy Stroup, Trent Dabbs, Kyle Ryan, Adam Keifer and Jared Kneale.
